Thunderbird : Open un-linked URLs through select + right click

Firefox has this nice little feature where if someone has made the ergonomics mistake of pasting an URL into text without turning it into a link, you can just select the URL yourself and right click, which provides the option to directly open the URL in a new tab, no copy + new tab + paste cycle needed.

It would be great if Thunderbird had something similar.
