Thunderbird Android - contact lists

In TB for Windows I have a number of "contact lists" in my address book that I use to email multiple people with a single address entry. In TB Android these do not work. The list name apparently is there and is accepted as an address entry but does not point to any of the contacts it should contain. This is something I would like to have available in TB Android. Thank you

I wonder how many out there would like this or other idea but have no idea about this forum. Is a certain number of "kudos" required before a request is seriously considered?

I have the same need of sending emails to a list of several email-addresses. I prefer to have this list outside the typical address book of the android system - I like to have the "contacts list" separated within the app.

The background is to forward information via email to several contacts at once without the need to have them all stored in the mobile phone address book. This would be very helpful.

It would be extremely useful to be able to use my contact groups as well for multi email distribution.
