temporary floating download panel

Each time i'm downloading many files the "DOWNLOAD PANEL" gets in my way, and sometimes i dont want others to know what i recently downloaded. Can you please make it just a temporary floating panel that disappears 2 or 3 seconds later. The other aspect of downloading is good.

Currently the only option is to either have it open automatically or stay closed. In case you decide it is better to only open when you click the button, here is where you set that:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

More info on about:config: Configuration Editor for Firefox. Please keep in mind that changes made through this back door aren't fully supported and aren't guaranteed to continue working in the future.

(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste browser.download.alwaysOpenPanel and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the preference to switch the value from true (open it) to false (do not open it)

It got switched off for good after the 104 update

Please put it back or else what is the point of the

browser.download.alwaysOpenPanel
If people don't want it they can turn it off
