Sports widget does not display in 24-hour format

The new Sports widget shows a 12-hour clock and there is no way of setting it to 24-hour. The clocks widget allows to switch to a 24-hour clock but this only applies to the clocks widget.

There should be a overall switch or possibly use some system-wide settings.
