This sounds like a horrible idea from a privacy and security standpoint. prefetching is one of the first things i'll disable wenn i setup my firefox ... if this gets though, i hope "prerendering" will be as easy to disable aswell. Websites should start to learn to reduce their inital content instead of relying the clients to support them wich such cheap tricks.
