i have switched from chrome since past 1 month and firefox is just better. the only thing i did not find easy is the option for having multiple profiles to be used at ease, could be better if there was one to easily access seperate profiles for work and home

It would be great to have the option to add new profiles manually into the Firefox Desktop (and if possible, Android and iOS as well), just like in Chromium-based browsers, not just installing Firefox on a device that has already Firefox in it)

Also adding a Profile Manager along the way

This shouldn't even be a request - it should already exist!

I'm another user who keeps going back to Chrome or Edge because Firefox doesn't have profile switching.

I didn't even know Firefox had multiple profiles, this feature idea and the ability itself needs promoting more!

It is definitively important for Firefox to implement profile switching and management to the same extent of simplicity as Chromium.

Switching profile is very useful in some term. I want to completely set FF for my default browser. But still sometime have to use Chrome because of FF lacking switching-profile.

As I started a work to port internal Chromium-based OSINT browser to Firefox I found profiles switching to be quite annoying and I’m certain it will be even worse when I will start to actually use it daily. Profiles are also a great feature to easily switch between settings, for example my work may require WebRTC and js, but I may prefer to have them turned on my private profile – but not many people even know about this feature, because it’s hidden.

I hope they make easy profiles switcher UI like chrome or edge and make PWA part of Firefox not extension as Firefox currently is rubbish in features section.

lack of chrome/edge like profile switching is my biggest problem with firefox.

There needs to be a profile switcher accessible directly from the toolbar, profiles should get separate taskbar icons, and there should be a simple way to create desktop shortcuts for each profile (without manually editing shortcut properties).

I eventually got it working the way I want with separate taskbar icons, etc... but it was a pain to setup and involved manually creating/editing shortcuts, editing about:config settings, etc...
