Search Buttons Don't Change when clicked

The Filter search buttons "Unread", "Starred", "Contact", "Tags", "Attachment" don't change when selected, the only clue one is selected is the count to their right and the messages displayed.

In addition the same occurs with the quick search filter buttons "Sender", "Receipts", "Subject" and "Body" have the same issue, you can't tell which are enabled.
