Restore Ctrl+Click to open History sidebar items in a new tab

In previous versions of Firefox, it was possible to Ctrl+Click an item in the History sidebar (Ctrl+H) to open it in a new tab, while keeping the current page open.

This behavior appears to have been removed. Now, Ctrl+Click opens the selected history entry in the current tab instead of creating a new one.

Please restore the previous behavior. It was consistent with how Ctrl+Click works throughout Firefox (bookmarks, links, tabs, etc.) and provided a fast, keyboard-friendly way to browse history without losing the current page.

Many users rely on the History sidebar to revisit multiple pages, and opening entries in new tabs is an important part of that workflow.

Restoring Ctrl+Click to open history entries in a background (or configurable) new tab would improve usability and maintain consistency with the rest of Firefox.

Expected behavior: Ctrl+Click on a history item should open that page in a new tab, just like Ctrl+Click on bookmarks and regular links.
