Hello, I suggest something that must be done as quickly as possible, we must optimize the RAM consumption of Firefox, with a little more than 10 tabs open with a video running, I found myself with 8 GB of RAM used, on a pc which has 16 GB of ram, it does not work!!!!!!
I therefore suggest that you do the same thing as Opera, if you do not know how to correct this type of problem because for years, the same bug has remained, so I suppose that you no longer know how the browser works (old memory bug 10 years). Just put a RAM and CPU usage limiter, it will be slow because the browser will still want to take the resources but will limit itself.
Please do this, instead of adding features that make the browser even heavier!!!
Please tell me Mozilla is still working on this, Firefox right now often reserves gigabytes for a single tab, which is ludicrous. There should be an option to limit this to 100 MB per domain or something.
Would absolutely love this! I moved from Opera GX to Firefox this year, and this is basically my only major issue with the browser. The GX RAM limiter worked wonders.
