Reopen previous tabs *and* windows next time using profile

I have several profiles where I want reopen tabs next time I use this profile. However, occasionally I request to open a link in a new window (same profile), and then forget that this window is open when I close the main window. Later I may come across this window (typically some single tab that I *don't* want to keep open) and close it. Next time I start this profile, it will only open the last window I closed, and all my 10-20 pinned tabs in the main window are gone, because this was closed first. Suggestion is, either prompt on closing the last window of a profile asking if there are previously closed windows that should be restored before closing the current one, or warn when closing the last restored window before newer ones, or even put the profile name somewhere visible with the number of open windows.
