When navigating into a subfolder in Bookmarks, opening a bookmark, and then opening the Bookmarks menu again, Firefox resets the view back to the top-level root menu. This forces users to navigate through all the subfolders again if they want to open multiple bookmarks from the same directory.

@EmberFox : assuming you mean bookmarks from the Bookmarks Toolbar (i.e. you middle-click one, but then the folders all close, and you have to navigate back to where you were), you can try two things:

1. If you want to open all the bookmarks in a particular folder, then middle-click on the folder they are in and they will all open.  Or click the "Open All in Tabs" option at the bottom of that folder.

2. Or go into about:config (type that in the URL bar, then press ENTER) and change these settings:

"browser.bookmarks.openInTabClosesMenu" to "false"
This keeps the folder you're in open after a middle-click.

"browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground" to "true"
This prevents switching to a tab after you middle-click a bookmark.
