"Empty Sent Mail" Feature

In Thunderbird, we can right click to empty the trash and even the junk folder, but the sent mail folder has no such option and we have to delete all sent mails one by one (or highlight the ones on the current page and delete in small clusters).

Could a feature be added to the sent mail folder, which collects way more mail than the junk folder, be fitted with an "empty" all at once command?

Also, I'll add a piddly request while I'm here - could we have a bigger emoji selection? The ones Thunderbird currently has have all been there for ages. The emojis could use an update! Thanks 🙂
