I think we should have a option in the settings to decide if we want to keep the browsing history in private mode the reason I say this is because I use the private browser alot but I hate always having to search for what I want because everytime I go out of the app it deletes everything

Hello @MoonMomma24   you have to explain more your use case.  I don't get why you need this, the private browser is to not store History or cookies when you visit a website. So open a normal window if you wanted it to be stored. OR if you need to store the history but separate login info then use Firefox's Multi-Account containers  feature which is awesome. You can be logged in to different account for different website in each container.

There is also add-ons that create temporary Multi-Account containers, I never use them, maybe they have a feature where history is saved, but not cookies, check:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/simple-tab-groups/

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stg-plugin-create-temp-tab/

hope this helps you

More of my issue is the fact that there isn't an option to have a password on it my kids should not be able to use the Firefox private browser on my phone as they use my phone cause they do not have there own phone an are not aloud to have there own phones so if there could be a password added to just the private Browsing part that would be absolutely wonderful then I atleast wouldn't have to worry about them looking at things they shouldn't be looking at

@MoonMomma24That is a cool idea and I have no need for it, and hopefully never will, but I think this should be there for Parents specially those i know.
