When an open source OS supports Japanese, it often adopts Mozc, derived from Google Japanese Input, as the Input Method. There have been many complaints about its quality, and I feel that it has prevented many OSs from spreading in Japan. So, is it possible for Mozilla to fork Mozc and improve the quality? I tentatively call this idea MozIME (文字目).
Furthermore, it should be noted that the Input method can collect large amounts of information, so it can pose a threat to security and privacy.
