With the version Firefox 109 release, you added this new button without the option to change its position or move into the overflow area. Please let use move it. I can remove/hide almost every other UI element in the browser, why not this?
Voted. Please revert this change, Mozilla. How does it make any sense? Overflow menu was perfect for all things we want hidden but easy to access (addons, tools).
I find it hard to believe that the same team that has beautifully redesigned Firefox over that last few years has come up with this Very Bad idea. Hugs to the people on the team that thought this was super dumb; May you all be promoted, at least for Firefox users' sanity.
I was confused why my overflow menu that I had set up to contain the extensions that I actively need to interact with was empty and they were now in an unmovable and customization menu right next to it lol. Thankful this can be resolved with the about:config switch but it's certainly a disruptive change and inconsistent with the customizable design language to be expected.
Here is an idea , How about removing the extension icon from the bar ...or at least make provision for users to remove the icon ...in the bar ....its puzzling
Puzzle pieces need to be put together...this puzzling piece is giving me no peace
