Please allow shortcuts on the home screen to be rearranged into a different order

I am currently using firefox on an android phone and the shortcuts are my favorite feature on the homescreen and I'd be glad if I had more ways of customizing them!

For instance, I would love to rearrange the shortcuts on my home screen into a custom order, preferably via drag and drop.

I also vote for this feature. It's a lot of toil to delete and replace the shortcuts because they can't be rearranged. 👍

I am surprised that nearly 3 years after this original idea was posted, no work has been done on this. But then, Firefox devs really have a deep disconnect with their user base and their product. They abandoned Tab Groups available in the previous [pre FF 60something variant of Firefox ]version of Firefox for Android and haven't shipped in a replacement yet [ and I don't think, will ever].

As someone stated, Opera has supported this ability for eons, but Firefox seems to think we are in 2005 instead of 2025.
