Please adjust so that people can choose between dark / white or another color of message list

Hello, very good thunderbird and am a fan of many themes! Problem though; mighty beautiful background (top) of mail program but the list of messages is 9/10 dark!

Please adjust so that people can choose between dark / white or another color of message list because I am not a fan of black background!

Please suggest that to illustrators because I find it really disturbing, so black on the

left mail side! Thank you!

If you are a fan of themes,  have you tried selecting the light theme?  It is not dark.
