Status: New idea

It would be nice if there were a feature to monitor password health, so you could see weak and/or leaked passwords.

It would have to be implemented securely as well, but other apps do have such features.

 

P.S. Having too many notifications could make it annoying,

It's a great idea. It would be very beneficial if we could easily identify weak (short, repeated etc.) passwords to update them. In addition, it could prompt some users to take some action and improve their passwords.

Agreed 100%! Passwords are still going to be around for a while. A way to have existing passwords evaluated would be a great feature. This could be connected to Firefox Monitor, so websites you have accounts for can be flagged if any hacks have occurred. I appreciate this would require personal data moving around but it would only be a website and could be made optional.
