Options to select between Square and Circle shortcuts.

 With all due respect to the talented devs who came up with those misaligned Circular shortcuts, it will be better if we get OPTIONS to choose between squared or circular, i am confident this change will be apreciated by existing users and new users as it makes the browser customizable.

i understand and respect your will to make changes and improvements to the browser, but please dont fix something if its not broken and try to give options, yes there is a Customize option in the Settings section where you can allow users to have options.

i dont want break your energy and passion to make the browser better so here is a link, https://madaidans-insecurities.github.io/firefox-chromium.html , may be you can find something.

Agreed. I have my own reasons to hate circular UIs. I literally struggle to navigate those, I need sharp edges, otherwise my eyes won't have anything to catch and focus on.

I agree with this idea. The circular shortcuts may look modern, but they don't work equally well for everyone, especially when the thumbnails or site icons don't fit neatly inside the circle.

I think the best solution would be to give users a choice between Square and Circle shortcuts instead of forcing one design on everyone. Firefox already has a Customize option, so adding a simple preference for the shortcut shape would make the experience much more flexible.

This is especially noticeable with sites like YyouTube MODS , where the thumbnail or shortcut icon can look much better in a square format. A square tile gives the image more room and makes the shortcuts easier to recognize at a glance.

I understand that Firefox is trying to modernize the design, and I'm all for improvements. But giving users an option would be even better  users who like the circular style can keep it, while others can switch back to square.

Small customization options like this can make a big difference without taking away the new design from anyone.
