Option to Close Tab with Delete/Archive

After opening an email in a new Tab, and then archiving or deleting the email, the tab remains open (as long as the (filtered) Inbox still contains more emails) and shows the next email.

I would like some kind of toggle switch, or key combination, that changes this behavior to instead close the tab.

(Similar to the pin in the Inbox quick filter, which toggles whether the filter settings get reset when opening a different inbox)
