Option to change the colour of prior emails (Thunderbird)

Recently, prior emails (during a Repy-To phase) started displaying in a light blue colour.  I cannot find in the Settings any way to change this - the one option I did find which looked likely, made no difference.  So I assume this is a global Thunderbird system change of some sort?

I checked the forum and noticed a post mentioning an option to amend the css which someone had obviously done (to fix this), but I don't want to attempt that as I have too little expertise.

The light blue colour I am finding is too hard to read.  I don't object per se to a different colour being used, but I would like an option to be be available to adopt a colour which best suits my eyesight.  Would very much appreciate your favourable attention to this.
