Open Split View with middle-click?

At the moment, middle-click opens a link as a tab in the background. Perhaps we could configure it? Just as keyboard shortcuts can now be configured through about:keyboard.

Split view is a great new addition. I hope it continues to receive updates now it's been released.

You’re right—middle-click behavior is usually fixed, but some browsers or extensions let you tweak it. It would be nice if it were as configurable as keyboard shortcuts. And yeah, split view is a strong feature. If they keep refining it (resizing, tab pairing, persistence), it could become a real productivity boost.
