Status: New idea

Hi, recent Firefox user coming from Chrome here. I'm a big shortcut / keyboard browser and something bugs me since switching to firefox.

When typing something in the search bar, I would like to be able to access the bottom of the suggestions list by pushing the "up" button instead of having to cycle through the settings and "search with X browser" buttons.

It's a small change but it actually happens to me a lot that the website I'm trying to access is at the end of the suggestions list and it's quite annoying to have to pickup the mouse to access it.

Thanks in advance !

I felt the same way when I switched from Chrome to Firefox.

My idea for a compromise would be, that you can still select the "search once" option you want by pressing the left or right arrow key. At the moment that moves the text cursor in the address bar, but I think you don't really need to do that while selecting a search engine 🙂
