Native Vim-Mode

Hello,
it would be great if we would not need extensions for navigating the browser with vim-like bindings.
(due to issues with navigating protected pages, no way to interact with toolbar elements, etc. )

So maybe there could be a toggle switch buried in the settings somewhere, which changes the input system to operate in 3 or 4 different modes (normal, insert, visual, [and ignore if needed]), and switch to a different vim-mode specific keymap config.

I'd also be happy to try and implement this myself, but I'd like to first ask whether such a patch-set would even be accepted.
