I have always standard my vpn connected to a server but for some apps on my mobile i need to be connected to a other server. And that takes time and sometimes i forget to switch it to the other server or switch it back to the standard server. It should be nice that if i start a app up it will automatically change to the recommended server you gave and if you don't gave a recommended server it will just take the server that you have standard on.

Thanks Jeppie!

Interesting! It could be possible to switch server locations based on the app in the foreground, but that means that other apps (in the background) would also change location, which could cause some unexpected issues.

Can you tell us more about why you need different locations per app, maybe with some examples?

My vpn is always on the netherlands. For a streaming app called crunchyroll i need to be in america because there is so much more anime available then in my country. And for some apps that only works in specific countries like in japan or exclusive country based streaming services.

Gotcha. And you choose the Netherlands as a general server location due to performance / proximity?

(Crunchyroll is awesome ;))

I use for both the reasons. I don't know if this is possible what i'm asking but it should be a nice feature to make mozilla vpn even better.          (and yes crunchyroll is awsome.)
