it would still be better to have a native dark mode in Firefox. I am using an extension "dark mode" and moving the switch up and down can get all pages dark, including this site, but it takes a few extra steps each time to do this.

A native dark mode for Firefox would obviously be much better than a workaround with potentially unsafe 3rd party tools.

I think you misunderstand this idea. This is a default dark mode exclusively for this website moz://a Connect, not a dark mode extension for the Firefox web browser. If your looking for mozilla to implement a built in dark mode extension for the web browser, perhaps try submitting your own idea.
