In Firefox, hovering over a tab gives only the tab title. It would be nice to see more detail, eg the URL/domain name (like Chrome and Edge do):

But what would be even better is a tab preview! Vivaldi does both URL and preview:

Thanks!

Browser TAB preview

  • This is a handy feature from the chrome browser.

  • In chrome, when you move the mouse over a TAB that isn't in the foreground, it displays a small preview window of the TAB a few seconds later to help you view the TAB, rather than just showing the title and not being able to tell what the TAB is

Salutations

I've been using Firefox from the beginning of Firefox - great product !

I have the latest version for Mint 22 . I also just did a refresh and lost my tool bars .

My request is to return the ability switch between loaded apps via a click on any app's icon in the panel

Yeah, IMHO this should be released in tandem with the tab grouping suggestion found here: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/native-tab-grouping-more-customizable-tab-bar/idi-p/303

Truly the only two things I miss from Chrome: tab peeks & tab groups.

And If Edge is doing something better than FF, haha, I think it's time to starting supporting it 😉

Cheers 🥂

Making moves

You know what this would be a very good feature to have well I made a thread about some things to so yeah I wonder if Mozilla is testing our ideas in an experiential version of the Firefox Web Browser?

@JonJ Will these features get into Firefox cause they would be good to have.
