Instead of only visible if website language is different from desired language, it will be always visible, so even if it's a page with your desired language, you still have a visible button to translate to other languages.

indeed i miss to have the translate button any time.

I would like to add; can the translate function being added to the sidebar pls. its the perfect location to support also for tasks like writing an email, etc.

Yes please. The auto detect is quite back so always showing it would be great. Additionally, I would love if when the language is not automatically identified, it goes to a default source->destination language. That way my main translation is always just one click away.

I found the auto detect to work very poorly on websites that contain english while most content is in other language. Currently to translate such website, we have to:
Highlight text -> right click -> translate highlighted text -> click on translate full webpage in popup.

Perhaps a button could be added to both toolbar and sidebar? Toolbar is easy to customize and perhaps first place someone would look for translation button.

There is a "Translate page" option in the Firefox hamburger menu.
