I used to use the Android back button as back button in Firefox for Android and I really liked the display history shortcut for long pressing that back button. As I understand, this function no longer works in newer Android versions. However, since a few days it seems that the replacement back button shortcut in Firefox itself now also cannot do this anymore. Instead, I get a pop up to edit the shortcut. The back button when opening the menu does still display the 'show history' behaviour, but I like the shortcut and not opening the menu each time. Can you restore the original functionality of this? Or make it optional to choose what a long press does so that people who do want to edit buttons with a long press still can, but others who don't can use the original implementation?
