in addition to the search box, add an exclusion box that can remember what you want excluded

Or, maybe add the exclusion box as part of the search settings.
This would help eliminate those sites that one has to sift through to find what they want.

My search exclude would look like this:

-zoominfo.com -linkedin.com -facebook.com -mylife.com -whitepages.com -spokeo.com -legacy.com -truepeoplesearch.com -radaris.com -yelp.com -tripadvisor.com

Now, I know that those sites will not like this, but I, and I dare say the millions of other users, would love it.
