Hello. I suggest the following improvements to shortcuts:
1. Users should be able to add sites to shortcuts via the context menu. Including from the context menu of sites in bookmarks.
2. Make shortcuts more static. Shortcuts should not automatically add visited sites (recent activity is for this). This does not threaten sponsored shortcuts in any way (don't worry).
3. Add shortcuts to sync.
This way you can use Shortcuts instead of the Bookmarks Toolbar and free up some vertical space. In my opinion, this will make the browser more attractive to both new and old users.
