Often I want to find the first occurrence of a search term directly or skip some matches to quickly find the location of interest in big pdf files or websites. 
To find the very first matching in an already open file, e.g. to look up an acronym again, you would have to click previous match a  million times or jump to first page first and search again.

The desired functionality could be implemented by making the "x of y matches" part editable, similar to the page selection view in pdf viewer.

This way, one could also skip n matches if its already clear, that the location of interest must be further below.
