When Firefox is pinned to the Windows taskbar, its menu looks like this

It would be handy if a shortcut to the Firefox Profile Manager were included in that menu.

(plus it would raise awareness of a fantastic, but little known and hard to discover, feature)

@Jon (re: similar idea ... settings and hamburger menu)

True, but I'm hoping for an easy way to choose a different profile prior to opening Firefox

I did create a shortcut to Profile Manager (firefox.exe -p) in the Windows Start menu, but there's no way for me to add that to the taskbar, which would be a more convenient location for it(correction: you can add a Profile Manager shortcut to the taskbar, but it would be a separate icon.   Including it in the Firefox taskbar menu, as I've suggested, would free up space on the taskbar, and still have the secondary benefit I mention below of adding awareness to the feature)

(not to mention that one has to know about the -p parameter to create a shortcut)

I think it's even more important to do something like this now that the new-style profiles are in play.

Coming from Chrome, I'm used to having pinned taskbar buttons for each browser profile, and I can't replicate that with Firefox. Even though I have two different FF icons pinned to the taskbar, unless I go through the account menu in an open instance, clicking the one that isn't open just opens a new window of the profile that's already running (or opens the profile picker if FF isn't running at all).

Being able to right-click any Firefox icon on the taskbar and open a profile from there, instead of having to go through the menu in an open FF window, would be very helpful.
