Firefox on MacOS doesn't support Lastpass TouchID login

Status: New idea

Password Manager Lastpass has instituted the ability to use TouchID on MacOS. However, when attempting to implement TouchID, I get the message:

Touch ID is not supported by Firefox.
Try Chrome, Safari, or Edge

I REALLY like Firefox, but also want to use TouchID. I hope that Firefox integrates with Lastpass soon.

Oddly enough.... by pure chance i enabled TouchiD for LastPass on Chrome (on MacOS) and happened to switch back to Firefox (v123) and... wait for it.... TouchID now works for LastPass on Firefox.  I'm running Sonoma 14.4 on a MacBook Air M2 fwiw.  Interesting to say the least.  YMMV.
