It would be Extremely Helpful™ if Firefox Mobile had an option (in Settings) to completely block downloading or streaming video over cellular/metered connections, and/or to display a confirmation dialog before starting.
Occasionally, the Wi-Fi on my Android device turns off or disconnects without my realizing, and I think (OK, assume) that I am downloading videos over Wi-Fi, only to find out afterwards that my cellular data plan has been eaten up.
Note that this is not a request to block AutoPlay. I am talking about situations where the user explicitly chooses to play a video without first checking to see that they are connected to Wi-Fi.
Thank you for your consideration.
