Many residential modem-routers allow you to establish a secure connection with HTTPS protocol to log into their configuration page. However, every time with Firefox Mobile you have to click on "Accept certificate ...". I believe that being able to add an exception to these certificates would be convenient for many who find themselves in this situation

I have the exactly same problem. This works in the desktop browser since I can remember. But in the mobile version this is not working any more.

Please enable "adding an exception" again.

Thanks in advance🙏

I have the same problem. I cannot get into my own private web site from outside, which is self signed of course to save money.

Same here. IMHO the current strategy of requesting an ACK every time actually *decreases* security, because it allows a man-in-the-middle attack every time the certificate verification is overridden instead of only once when the cert is accepted (and pinned) for the first time.

Why can I do this on desktop, but not mobile?
