Dear Developers ,

I am using Firefox and my OS is Ubuntu 22.04 LTS . I accidentally deleted my browsing history for the month of July and I found that there is no  way to recover the deleted browsing history . It would be very useful in future versions of Firefox , if you could ensure that when a user hits the delete button for a particular month in the library of the browsing history , please ensure that only the link to that information is removed from the Firefox History library viewer , without modifying the places.sqlite file .This will ensure that  a permanent backup of the Firefox browser history is always stored in the user's profile , and hence the user will always have the option of recovering the links in the Firefox History Library Viewer. Thank You for reading.

Hello

If you want to make a backup from time to time, take a look at https://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=14968712#p14968712

I don't agree with this. I want to delete my Firefox history because I don't need them. I want them permanently deleted. I don't want them traces of my history left behind. That's what "Delete browser history" is for.
