Firefox Developer Edition flatpak

Agree but it would be a good idea to put them in flathub-beta instead of flathub since they are beta and developer versions.

The flathub beta repository, as long as I'm concerned, is more useful when the DISTRIBUTION of the product (app,runtime,plugin,...) is not ready yet for the public.

So, maybe on the initial stages, while the build method of the flatpak is in development it would be a good idea. But since there's already a method for the Firefox stable, i don't know if it will be necessary.

The downside of being on Flathub Beta repository is that the discoverability of the app will be decreased, since it will be not visible on flathub.org and on distributions that already comes with Flathub but not Flathub Beta, increasing the chance of users searching for another method of installation.

Agree, because only available Firefox Developer Edition on flatpak is 2 years old and download speed is 8kb/s.

I install snap on fedora only for firefox beta.

So i need it.

I have to run from the unpacked archive, but it works terribly (does not listen to the .desktop file).
Please make a Flatpak!

I tried to take advantage of the unofficial flatpak, but it pulls the unsupported Gnome 3.34 Runtime. Therefore, I had to cancel — I do not want to clog my system 😞
