Hi Thunderbird Team,

First of all, I want to say that you guys are amazing engineers. I’ve recently switched back to Thunderbird because Outlook was giving me constant login headaches, and I really appreciate the "old school" stability and the new "Supernova" look.

I actually wanted to donate to support your work, but I hit a wall on your payment page. As a regular person from Estonia (and this applies to much of Europe), I don’t use a "Credit Card" in the traditional sense, and seeing the term "SEPA Direct Debit" is honestly a bit scary. It sounds like a complex legal bank contract rather than a simple one-time gift. Most people in my region would probably just close the tab at that point.

In Estonia, we are used to "Bank Links" (direct login to our local bank) or simple card payments. It's funny to see "Credit Card" as the main option—do people still use those? Ha-ha! My local debit card works fine online, but your UI doesn't make it clear that it's welcome there.

If you want more donations from fans like me outside the US, please make the process as "human-friendly" as the software itself. Less accountant-speak, more simple clicks!

Keep up the great work with the code, but maybe give the donation page a "Supernova" update too?

Best regards,

Kaarel
