Hello,
I would like to propose an improvement regarding the management of self-moderation extensions in Firefox. Currently, these extensions can be uninstalled or disabled instantly, which reduces their effectiveness, especially for those designed to limit access to undesirable content like porn website or time-wasting websites like social network.
To enhance their usefulness, it would be beneficial to introduce a mechanism preventing their immediate removal. One possible solution would be to impose a 72-hour delay before a deactivation or uninstallation request takes effect. Another approach could be requiring a password, set in advance by the user, to authorize such modifications. These measures would provide effective protection against impulsive decisions and help reinforce digital discipline.
Best regards,
