Dear Mozilla Developers,

I am writing to propose an improvement to the integration of the Pocket feature within the Firefox browser's toolbar button. Currently, when users use the Pocket button, they are redirected to the English version of the Pocket website by default, even if their browser is set to display content in another language, such as Chinese, where a localized version of getpocket.com exists.

My suggestion is to implement intelligent locale detection in this workflow. Specifically, upon clicking the Pocket toolbar button, Firefox could check the user's current browser language preference and, if supported by the Pocket service, automatically redirect them to the corresponding localized version of the Pocket website. If a localized version is not available, it would then fall back to the default English version.

This enhancement would provide a more seamless experience for non-English speakers and align with Mozilla's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility across different locales. By adapting to the user's preferred language, we can further improve user satisfaction and engagement with the Pocket feature.

Thank you for considering this proposal, and I look forward to any feedback or updates regarding its implementation.

Best regards
