Endless loop when trying to add new email account

Just installed Thunderbird 142.0 x64 version. On previous versions, adding new email accounts functioned perfectly. This new version runs into an endless loop after entering the name and email address, whereby one is forced to force a program closure.

That is a known bug, should be fixed soon. Meanwhile, try creating the account the old way:

- go to TB menu > Settings > General > Account hub > uncheck 'Create accounts in the new Account Hub'

- go to TB menu > New Account > Email
