Killing Firefox on Linux - an alert that came up asking "Are you sure you want to kill Firefox?"

On Linux, clicking the X in the upper right hand corner of the Firefox display, or entering CTRL-W kills Firefox with no warning. It would be nice if there was an alert that came up asking "Are you sure you want to kill Firefox?". Or at least add an option for this in Settings.

Both browser.warnOnQuit and browser.warnOnQuitShortcut are set to TRUE.  Whether they are set to TRUE or FALSE, Firefox (on Linux) quits with no warning.
