Donations directly from Bank Account

Would be helpful to be able to make a donation directly from my bank account rather than use a credit card or other payment system type.

i have just donated to the thunderbird department...

i am all for you guys getting donations... BUT...

for there to be a little tick box at the bottom tacitly begging us to cover your transactions platform costs?....

$6?!?!?!?!

screw that!... even if it was $0.60c, then i would still not cover that cost. the banking and transaction systems of the world steal enough out of us at every turn.

time for mozilla to investigate alternate means of payment.

direct transfer, or, partner up with revolut or wyse money companies... SURELY they have to be cheap enough for you to not pass on a $6 hit to people who only want to donate to MOZILLA... NOT the banks as well.

SIX DOLLARS!!! for a transaction fee!.

based on what i donated, that was not a typical 1.5% surcharge that the world is used to seeing...

it was not even double that at 3% or triple at 9%...  it was FIFTEEN PERCENT.

you gotta get yourselves a better financial transactions institution!.
