Customize homepage button - Add option to disable the "Customize homepage" button

"Customize homepage" button is useful for introducing the feature to edit Homepage. But, after the Homepage is fully edited, the button becomes unnecessary.

Idea:
Add option to disable the "Customize homepage" button.

Not sure why Firefox for android has the homepage clean when everything is removed but iOS does not. 

Firefox for android seems to have the better experience overall. Tab lists, bigger add new tab button…

It’s absolutely ridiculous the customize homepage button is bigger then then search bar itself.

I just made Firefox my default browser (for Android) and so far it's good but that giant customize bar is taking up a lot of space on the homepage.  It's unappealing & uneccesssary as we can easily go to settings to make changes.  Please remove it.

I also made an effort to switch to FF and find this, among many other “features” quite frustrating for their existence and the lack of acknowledgement from designers and developers.

As a web developer, at least now I understand better why people don’t want to use FF.

Agreed. I prefer a more minimal look on my homepage. It would be nice to be able to move this big button out of the way.
