I am requesting a feature that allows users to create multiple, custom "Unified Inboxes" instead of having just one global one.
Currently, the Unified Inbox in Thunderbird for Android automatically includes all configured accounts. For users managing a large number of email addresses, this creates a cluttered experience. I would like the ability to:
• Create multiple custom unified folders: Not just "Work" and "Personal," but as many as the user needs (e.g., "Clients," "Newsletters," "Project X," etc.).
• Selective Account Mapping: For each custom folder, let the user manually select which specific email accounts should be aggregated into it. (Example: Folder "A" contains accounts 1, 3, and 5; Folder "B" contains accounts 2 and 4).
This would bring Thunderbird for Android closer to the "Saved Search Folders" functionality available on the Desktop version. It would allow power users to organize their workflows efficiently without having to switch between individual accounts or see a single, overwhelming inbox of 10+ addresses.
