Groups appear to be great however if you're working in several and opening and closing tabs at a decent rate many would be outside the group as you `ctrl+t` to open a new tab it is not inside the group.  Being able to open a new tab in the current group would seem to be core to moving fast while keeping things grouped.

I think that if you're on a tab that's within a group, hitting "Ctrl+t" should create a new tab within that same group.

I agree with @flaqueman that the default behaviour of ctrl-t should be to create the new tab within the current group (if the current tab is in a group). But a Settings flag that controls this behaviour could also be added.
