column sorting - lock

Hi. Can i lock sorting column in category?

I use sort-by-date DESC and sort-by unreaded DESC in main tab (inbox) and differend in other folder.
But, need lock sorting, because, you can easy break this, when come new mail on top of table, under header. Single click on header change order, then all order you must create new.

It would be nice to be able to lock sorting of columns... My father of 89 years old. is calling me often that he can't find new e-mails. If I login with Teamviewer, I see he accidentely has clicked at a column and his sorting is not by date anymore.
It would help if this sorting can be locked...
