Change Account Page In Thunderbird to Similar to MS Outlook Today

I've committed to Thunderbird and these more recent versions are really feature-packed. One suggestion I have is in MS Outlook (old version), there's a page when you click on your account name called "Outlook Today" and it gives you a snapshot off your 10 most recent messages, calendar items for the day, and open tasks. I wanted to request that an option be provided to replace the default account home page with something similar to Outlook Today, with a link to change account settings.
