Bookmarks as page / new tab calling bookmarks folder

Hello,

while trying to fit firefox@ubuntu into my personal internet browser I recognized that it does not seem to be possible to call the bookmark folder as a webpage and that means I cannot start browsing in a new tab my bookmarks.
I think that this is exactly what you want to do in a new tab... see you bookmarks or start with a new website that is why I always have empty page as a start... I do not want some news.

I think this would also improve browsing bookmarks as those small buttons can be made big on an empty page.
